The Svard system is doomed.
Reports come in of the Cog, Silence, and the Crystal Council, final stronghold of Svard, being overrun with Whisperers. After regrouping with Keel on the edge of the system, Battle fleet Koronus will be called for an Extreminatus, to eradicate the Yu’vath once again for good.
On board of the Nullus Secundus, stowed away in the vast crew quarters, a crystal crackles with dark energy.
The Emperor Protects.

Session 9 - 1,000 xp
Explorers: Nymeros, Rogi, Tristan.
The Explorers fight their way to the main control room, where they meet the missing Envoy, none other than Captain Keel's brother. Unfortunately, he's also possessed by the Yu'vath, and the Explorers decide to execute him.
But their troubles are not over: out of the gas giant, the Yu'vath ultimate weapon slowly emerges: the Whisperer, a monstrous void ship with tremendous fire-power attacks the Nullus Secundus and Captain's Keel voidship, trying to make it through their defences and destroy the Installation.
The Imperials fight valiantly, but they cannot stand against the power of the Whisperer. After one last barrage of xenon weapons, the Installation explodes, becoming the fiery tomb of Tristan, who had decided to remain behind to operate the Installation's weapons.
Both Captain Keel and the Nullus Secundus decide to leave the system, badly damaged and promising revenge...

Session 8 - 500 xp
Explorers: Nymeros, Tristan, Rogi.
After careful consideration, and desperate for a solution, the Explorers decide to open the seals, killing the complete Whisperers population infesting the Cog. The city-factory is free of hostiles, but it will take many months before it recovers from the corrosive atmosphere.
A few weeks later, captain Keel send a rescue mission to extract them from Cog. After debriefing, they are informed that the Imperials have traced the Whisperers' headquarters on Installation 23, one of the refineries orbiting the gas giant. The installation is heavily guarded by system ships and Void Wasps.
Together with the help of captain Keel, the Explorers decide to assault the target with their Voidship, while at the same time sneak in with several guncutters to try and secure the control room. While macrobatteries and lances fire in the void, the Explorers fight their way through Installation 23.

Session 7 - 500 xp
Explorers: Nymeros, Rogi, Tristan.
The Explorer travel to Cog, an industrial planet cursed by a toxic and corrosive atmosphere. They approach on a gun-cutter, but are rapidly spotted by the Whisperers' sentries, and are forced to fight their way to the colossal city-factory that dominates the moon.
Inside the compound, they're attacked by more Whisperers, but eventually find their way to the Core, where they meet a group of Adeptus Mechanicus led by Magos Tevla. The Mechanicus is sealed up in Core, where they can control not only the defense systems of the city-factory, but also the functioning of the storm shields and void-seals protecting the Whisperers from the acidic atmosphere.
When the Explorers propose to open the seals to allow the atmosphere to kill the Whisperers, they're confronted with the harsh truth that, even though they're possessed by the Yu'vath, the Whisperers are still humans.
Having reached a safe haven, the Explorer decide to rest, and ready themselves to take a difficult decision.

Session 6 - 500 xp
Explorers: Nymeros, Tristan, Rogi.
Speaker Tal welcomes the Explorers as saviours, stating that the Svard System has many issues that need to be taken care of, chief among them the continuous assaults of the Whisperers, some sort of "curse" possessing the locals, turning them into frenzied killers. The Explorers witness this personally, when they're assaulted by their own escorts after an official celebration.
Still on the hunt for the missing envoy, the Explorers travel to Silence, a lonely asteroid renowned for his talented sculptors. On their way there, they're assaulted by two xeno ships, apparently composed of crystals. After a short battle the two ships depart, damaged but not defeated.
The Explorers land on Silence, and while approaching the Saint's Tower, the thousands of unfinished statues surrounding the monument animate, and attack them and their PDF troops.
They hurry to the inside of the Tower, where they must face a towering statue of the God Emperor Himself. Once the icon is destroyed, the influence animating the statues outside dissipates, and calm reigns one more. The Explorer do not find any trace of the missing envoy, but have time to check the records contained in the Tower: it seems that in the past a mysterious xeno race called the Yu'vath cast its shadow on the system, but was repelled by the Navarre dynasty.
Could these Yu'vath be behind the Whisperers, the crystal ships, and the weird force animating the statues? The Explorers report their finding to Speaker Tal and to Captain Keel, then lay low for a few weeks while they perform extended repairs on their ship, and heal their wounds.

Session 5 - 500 xp
Explorers: Nymeros, Rogi, Tristan.
The Explorers are gifted from the Navarre Dinasty with the Nullus Secundus, a Claymore-class corvette, in order to re-take possession of the Svard system, once a colony of the Navarre. The Explorers enter the Warp, and as usual their journey is not without troubles, chief among them an incursion of Beasts of Nurgle!
During a short stop in real space, they're approached by an Imperial Navy fleet, led by Captain Keel. He seems to be aware of their mission, and tasks them with an additional duty: to investigate the disappearance of an Imperial Envoy in the Svard system, and establish diplomatic relationships with the locals.
The Explorer accept, and after a short trip in the Warp they reach the Svard system, landing on an icy moon orbiting a huge gas giant. There, they're met by a delegation of locals, led by Speaker Tal.
